Supermassive

I thought I would have a go at shooting a composite image of the Milky Way's Core on my Canon 40mm f/2.8 STM.
Turns out that shooting at 2.8 was no good, there was a lot of 'smudging' on the periphery, something that I had read about before, so I stepped it down to 3.2 which more or less sorted the issue. I think I'm ready to do a bigger and better composite image of the milky way next time with my 100mm macro which is still superb at 2.8. I was going to do it during this outing, but was literally out of time, the sun was very close to rising.... there's always next time!

All in all, I'm pretty happy with this shot, and that outing as a whole, still have to put together a time-lapse I created while I was out looking forward to it!
